For the redesign of the "Join as a Distributor" page at IT WORKS!, I focused on making the process visually appealing and easy to navigate, incorporating interactive components that boosted user engagement. The new video carousel featured success stories that resonated with potential distributors. As a result, the page saw a 30% increase in conversions within the first two months, and the interactive elements achieved high click-through rates, significantly enhancing the overall user experience and driving business growth.

Making Success Clear, Accessible, and Engaging
In-Depth Research That Drove Strategic and Design Alignment

This project began with extensive research into the target audience’s motivations, aspirations, and challenges. Key insights revealed that users were highly motivated by earning an extra $200 per month, with the $299/month average earnings serving as a powerful aspirational benchmark. Additionally, the audience's love for travel inspired the inclusion of a video carousel showcasing distributor trips, aligning the design with their dreams and lifestyle goals.
The research also highlighted a sense of insecurity among the audience and a strong need for guidance. To address this, I created an animated component spotlighting the distributor app’s tools and resources, showcasing the mentorship and support available to new distributors. This feature aimed to reassure users and help them feel confident and equipped for success.
To ensure the research findings were actionable, I compiled a comprehensive 60-page slide deck summarizing these insights and presented it to the executive team. This presentation reshaped our strategic approach, leading to more targeted initiatives and ensuring alignment with the audience’s needs and aspirations. The deck not only influenced this project but also set the foundation for future user-centered decisions, transforming how the company connects with its audience.
